Past Events 2008 Focus the Nation On January 30 and 31, 2008, Focus the Nation created the largest teach-in in U.S. history by organizing high schools, colleges, universities, faith organizations and civic groups to discuss a wide variety of topics on climate change. At CSU we held some two dozen talks in the Lory Student Center that drew a total of more than 2,000 students and community residents. CSU will again host Focus the Nation on February 4 and 5, 2009. 2007 The Climate Change Problem: A High-Level Primer A series of talks by CSU faculty intended primarily for CSU faculty and staff. They offered overviews of major elements of the climate change challenge.
